Science

In our Science unit the children will be learning about Plants. They will learn about the life cycle of a flowering plant and they will be able to describe and explain how seeds are dispersed and then germinate. They will explore the requirements of plants for life and growth and how these vary from plant to plant. They will also learn how water is transported throughout a plant. Work will be conducted in a hands on way with a range of experiments. They will develop their scientific enquiry skills, making observations, predictions and conclusions.
