During the Spring Term 2 we are focussing on Properties of Shapes.
By the end of Year 2 children should be able to say...
| Recognise 2D Shapes and 3D Shapes. | Children will recap on their knowledge of recognising and naming both 2D and 3D shapes. |
| Count Sides on 2D shapes | Children will explore 2D shapes by counting the numbers of sides. |
| Count Vertices on 2D Shapes | Children will learn to count vertices on 2D shapes. |
| Sort 2D Shapes | Children will explore similarities and differences between 2D shapes. |
Every Friday the children will have a 10 minute arithmetic test. We are also enjoying playing 'It's a Knockout.' Maybe you could play this at home?
